After that, he was featured in the supernatural horror film The Turning, which was released in 2020, and Wolfhard played the role of Miles and The film was based on an adaptation of Henry James’ novella The Turn of the Screw. On the other hand, he was also featured and co-starred in the anthology film Omniboat: A Fast Boat Fantasia in 2020.
Furthermore, Wolfhard played the son of Coon’s single mother in Jason Reitman’s Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021), co-starring alongside Carrie Coon. Notably, in 2023 Finn and his lovely friend Billy Bryk, who is also a frequent collaborator the joined together to release the theatrical feature film Hell of a Summer, in which they both co-wrote, co-directed, and co-starred.

As a musician, Finn was the lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, and songwriter for the Vancouver-based rock band Calpurnia, but the band dissolved in November 2019. After that group band was dissolved, he later revealed that the Finn new band called The Aubreys, which consists of Malcolm Craig, Calpurnia drummer, will begin their first soundtrack for his film, The Turning, in 2020.
