Then in 1997, Michael played the eponymous character in the film Spawn and was recognized as the first African American to present a major comic book superhero in a major motion picture.
After that, in the movie Exit Wounds released in 2001, he portrayed a starring role opposite his fellow martial artist Steven Seagal. He was also featured in the 2003 Busta Rhymes and Mariah Carey’s music video “I Know What You Want”. Moreover, Michael has been doing voice work on screen roles since 2003 including Justice League and Static Shock.
