Following his competition in K-1, SUPERKOMBAT, and IT Showtime Verhoeven signed a deal with Glory World Series. Then his next fight was with the Russian mixed martial artist Sergei Kharitonov and the fight was held at Glory 4, Tokyo – 2012 Heavyweight Grand Slam in Saitama, Japan on 31st of December 2012.
