She commenced her work as the chief reporter for the Express & Star in Wolverhampton after she had trained at the age of eighteen years as a journalist. After that, she later joined ITV News Central on ITV Central – newsreading bulletins in March 2002, where she worked as a co-presenter with Bob Warman and also reported for the West Midlands region. On the other hand, Pip also served as a freelancer with ITV News London on ITV London, Central Extra on ITV Central, Westcountry Live on ITV Westcountry, and the ITV News Channel.
